About Flourish

Hi, I’m Katie Joosten. I am the therapist behind Flourish Perinatal Counselling. I opened this therapy practice so that folks in my community, in the perinatal season of life, would have access to evidence-based counselling.

Perinatal support is for those who are in the process of family planning, pregnant, have experienced a pregnancy or infant loss, postpartum and in the early years of parenthood . This can be an incredible meaningful and fulfilling time in a person’s life AND also very overwhelming and challenging.

Services are available for individuals and couples addressing concerns such as prenatal and postpartum mental health, parenting stress, relationship changes, trauma, grief, and loss.

In-person counselling is offered in Sarnia–Lambton, with virtual sessions available across Ontario.
